We are now looking for a new colleague to join our team as Customer Operations Officer at Nordnet Bank. This role is perfect for you who have a high level of ambition, are structured and efficient with an analytical mindset.
This is part of the role
Customer Operations is responsible for the manual customer life cycle for all Nordic customers. In all our areas, we ensure that we have the correct customer data on our customers based on current regulations, above all within the Money Laundering Act (AML) and tax legislation. We work with, among other things, the following areas:
- Onboarding of new customers: including checks as “know your customer” (AML/KYC) and registration of new customers where we also identify high risks and deviations
- Management of existing customers: follow up, check and update customer data (so that we meet our requirements as a financial institution)
- Offboarding: Termination of accounts and handling of e.g. estates, terminations and bankruptcy proceedings.
You and your colleagues rotate between all areas of responsibility so that you build up a wide range of skills and can contribute where needed. We constantly strive to improve and to make our processes automated and even more efficient, which requires a high technical understanding and a genuine interest for systems and atomization.

As a Customer Operations Officer you
Probably have a degree, or equivalent, in Business Administration, Economics or similar
- Have at least a couple of years of experience in administrative work, preferably in banking and finance,
- Are fluent in Finnish and English
- Are a true team player that likes to share knowledge with your colleagues
- Find the customer important and appreciate working closely together with the team and towards stakeholders
