This is part of the role

We are looking for a product designer who wants to create world-class user experiences and redefine the financial industry. The main responsibility of a Product Designer is designing innovative products and services for Nordnet across digital touchpoints, such as our web and app.

You'll be a part of our Award winning Design team which you will closely collaborate with during our journey of creating Nordnet Design System and one unified Nordnet design experience. You will work closely with Product Design team, Product Owners, scrum teams and business developers to create intuitive and delightful experiences for our customers.

You will tackle all aspects of the design and business building process, often through leading interactive workshops and design sprints to foster innovation, collaboration, and alignment between Product Design & Product teams.

You will be building Design System and maintaining design system libraries together with Product Design team and a group of passionate developers. You spark innovation and enjoy collaborating with the team to ensure Design System growth.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you take great pride in your work, that you are open minded, curious and continuously want to learn and grow. We think that you are a true problem solver and optimist with great communication skills. You are enjoying collaborating with designers, data analysts as well as developers and product owners. Agile software development process and tools such as Jira
and Confluence is something you are used to.

With strong organisational and time management skills you are structured, able to self manage throughout design process and drive design work, run workshops and conduct presentations directly towards organization and stakeholders. You enjoy working with cross-functional teams and different stakeholders (bringing together design, agile, engineering, business, data analytics, product and domain owners, etc.) hand in hand when delivering designs. 

For us it is important that you have a good understanding of UX and interaction design as well as UI design with attention to details. To have a collaborative mindset and that you enjoy design thinking process, user flows and working with wireframes, visual design, design system integration, design usability and design guidelines documentation.

You feel comfortable with designing UIs that visualise data and are always looking for customer insights and data to drive the best UX decisions in your designs, such as qualitative research and A/B testing.

We think that you have around 2-3 years experience of working as a Product Designer.

As a Product Designer, you

-Thrive in interaction with your colleagues and stakeholders.
-Have experience in building Design Systems as well as using tools such as Figma and Miro to create and share ideas, concept wireframes, prototypes and designs.-Have an interest and want to learn more about platform and usability guidelines such as
Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines for iOS, Google’s Material Design and WCAG.
-Have a portfolio showcasing your work.
