We’re now looking to strengthen our Mutual Fund Team with a Business Owner, who’s core will be Product Governance and business excellence . This is part of the role

As a Business Owner you will make sure we’re best-in-class in the mutual fund business whilst ensuring that Nordnet is, and continues to be, compliant and commercially effective in relation to external and internal requirements. Primarily within product governance and related policies and instructions. You will keep the team up to date on changes in regulations and views from regulators with respect to business and product impact.

In this role you will work closely with other Business Owners across Mutual Funds, Securities Brokerage, Credit and Pension. Further, it’s expected you proactively work together with Compliance and Legal, in order to always bring different dimensions into the discussion as well as streamline the business areas. Together with your manager you will own and improve core processes for managing Nordnet's mutual fund business.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive and support projects that spans over the firm to achieve strategic initiatives within Mutual Funds in a compliant way
• Support the overall quality of the investment products within Nordnet’s mutual fund offering
• Support the Mutual Fund business with legal and compliant projects
• Identify new tools for the platform and optimize existing offering as per internal guidelines
• Structuring and improve internal processes
• Monitoring and analyzing mutual fund data

This is you

This is a role for you that thrives within mutual funds whilst navigating changes in regulations connected to the business area. In other words, what you may lack in experience- you make up for with true passion and knowledge about mutual funds!

Most probably you are well-founded in the majority of the following:

• 3-5 year of experience within mutual funds, compliance or legal
• Hold a degree, or equivalent, in Law, Business Administration or similar
• Agile work methods in practice
• Basic MiFID2-knowledge
• Fluency in English is mandatory
• Bank & Finance experience is required
• Swedsec licensed
