Nordnet is a leading pan-Nordic digital platform, bringing the joy of savings and investments to our customers. Our ambition is to inspire, encourage and enable everyone to take their savings to the next level, no matter who they are.
We believe that data is a cornerstone for our future success, and we're building the next generation of banking on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with our analytics platform having moved to GCP in 2020.
Now we're looking for a passionate Analytics Engineer to be the bridge between business and data technology. At Nordnet, we strive to be data pioneers, devoted to harnessing the potential of data and AI. - Designing and building elegant data structures in BigQuery.
- Ensuring data is accurate and reliable.
- Empowering others by making data models and dashboards accessible and understandable for everyone.
- Collaborating with diverse teams, bringing their data needs to life through your expertise.
This is you
You're passionate about data and learning new things, and you are a problem solver who wants to contribute with your experience and ideas. In your work, you are organised, methodical and agile in a way that benefits the team environment and ability to deliver solutions.
To thrive in this role, we believe that most of these criteria describe you:
- Have several years of experience as an Analytics Engineer/Business Intelligence Developer/Data Engineer.
- Skilled in designing and building data warehouses and analytics platforms
- Apply software engineering best practices like code reviews to ensure our work is of high quality.
- A clear communicator who can simplify complex concepts with ease.
- Exhibit deep SQL knowledge and experience with dbt.
- Looker (or similar) knowledge for creating inspiring dashboards.
What we offer
You would be a part of the Data & Insights department, consisting of smart and skilled Analytics Engineers, Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Data Analysts. Here, you'll not only learn and grow but also contribute with your unique perspective to our success.
We provide our team with a modern tech stack and actively explore the future of data, experimenting with AI to improve how we consume and create data products. You will enjoy the flexibility of hybrid working and a competitive salary and compensation package.
At Nordnet, data is a fundamental part of how we make decisions and innovate. If you're eager to make a difference and work with exciting technology in a supportive and empowering environment, we warmly encourage you to apply!
