Head of Customer Systems
We're looking for a highly engaged and technically skilled manager to lead our Customer Systems team. This is a substitute position covering parental leave from October 2025 to December 2026, with the possibility of extended employment.
The Customer Systems team is primarily responsible for operating and monitoring our in-house developed applications, which are hosted in our on-premise environment, as well as our Oracle and MySQL databases.
The responsibilities of the role include:
- Monitoring and operating on-premise hosted, in-house developed applications
- Managing Oracle and MySQL databases
- Project management for small, medium, and large-sized projects
Everything must work like a well-oiled machine, 24/7/365. We operate on a modern and efficient platform that we continuously invest in. Customer Systems is part of IT Operations, which is responsible for everything from IT Support to Infrastructure, System Management, Automation, Access Management, and Business Continuity Management (BCM).
About the role
As the Head of Customer Systems, you will lead two teams and report directly to the Head of IT Operations. You will also be a key member of the IT Operations management team, where your broad contributions will be highly valued.
Managing critical systems demands a high degree of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and strong collaboration with colleagues across all parts of the business. Drawing on your experience in mission-critical environments, you'll share technical knowledge and support your team in daily decision-making.
Furthermore, this position involves managing various IT projects. During 2026, the role will likely be a 50/50 split between team management and leading these projects. You are expected to quickly get an overview of each project, identify key stakeholders, and effectively communicate and collaborate with all necessary parties. Having experience from cloud migration related projects is very meriting.
About you
We're looking for a person with a strong interest in technology and experience in leading technical teams. You must also have solid experience managing IT-related projects. We believe you have at least five years of leadership experience. You are a great communicator with a true interest in building relationships and achieving results through your team.
You have a naturally embedded risk awareness in your daily decision-making. You will push for improvements and aren't afraid to make tough decisions, all while maintaining a high level of system availability. As an engaged leader, you continuously inspire and lead by example.
What we offer
We offer you the opportunity to work in a Nordic environment with a strong focus on delivery, product development and technology. Our ambitions are high and you will embark on a fast and challenging journey together with a skillful team of sharp and committed colleagues.
