With a lot of things happening within the credit area we’re now looking to strengthen our team with a Business Owner for Margin lending. You’ll be part of an energetic, transparent, and passionate team that loves financial products.

This is part of the role

You’ll belong to the Nordic group and have a close relationship with stakeholders within Nordnet e.g. legal, compliance, tech, product, marketing, operations, and our country organizations.

You’ll be Nordnet’s key expert within the margin lending area, report to the Chief Credit Officer and be a part of the Credit & Payments management team.

Key responsibilities

You will have the responsibility from a business perspective for Nordnet's margin lending offering on all our markets, including:

• Develop Nordnets strategy for margin lending offering, together with product owners, engineering, country organizations and other relevant stakeholders
• Development requirements within this product area and prioritize development initiative from a business perspective, in close dialogue with product owners and engineering.
• Identify the need for and manage new products and optimize the existing offering by close monitoring of our current processes, customer needs and dialogue with our country organizations, product owner and operation teams.
• Ensure regulatory compliance within the margin lending area, with support from Nordnet's legal team.
• Follow up and work closely with the PnL generated from margin lending.
• Leading internal projects like e.g. process improvements to improve scalability and product development initiatives.
• Internal reporting of business development to relevant stakeholders, including assuring relevant data quality.
  

This is you

Most probably you are well-founded in the majority of the following:

• 3-5 years of experience from business development
• Solid experience from work with the margin lending product and the trading area.
• Up to date with the latest changes and trends on the market within the area.
• Good knowledge about legislations covering this area
• Bank & Finance experience is required
• Experience from project management 
• Fluency in English is mandatory

You are passionate about savings and investments, and credit products. You are organized, methodical and communicative in a way that benefits the team’s working climate and ability to excel. You easily interact with all levels of the organization and like to take responsibility. You have an open mindset and like to challenge and question long-established truths. Getting to know the details and understanding how everything is connected and dependent on each other is of great importance to you. Also working in teams and celebrating successes. You’re not afraid of rolling up your sleeves and love working in a fast pace environment.
