We are now seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our team, leading the teams in the Product Platform domain. This domain is the technical backbone of Nordnet — owning the foundational services that every other product area depends on. From how customers sign up, log in, and manage their accounts, to how fees are calculated, agreements are handled, and holdings data flows across the platform. You will own the roadmap across teams responsible for areas such as authentication, customer data, billing, onboarding, authorization, and financial crime tooling. The work is less about building customer-facing features and more about ensuring Nordnet’s core infrastructure is scalable, secure, and built for the future.

The Product department consists of the Chief Product Officer, Director of Product, Area Product Owners, and Product Owners within the different domains.

This is part of the role

As a Product Owner for Product Platform at Nordnet, you own the product vision, roadmap, and delivery for the technical platform that underpins our entire savings and investment experience. You translate complex infrastructure and platform challenges into scalable technical solutions, ensuring Nordnet maintains a leading position in the Nordics. Navigating the intersection of technology, business strategy, and operational resilience, you drive high-impact transformation and technical excellence in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

On a daily basis, you work as a technical peer to our engineering teams and alongside business stakeholders to solve complex platform problems and drive the discovery and delivery of new technical products and services. You take full ownership of the product roadmap, defining requirements while ensuring the team is updated with essential information and focus to maintain high execution momentum.

Key responsibilities:

• Product innovation: Drive the evolution of our investment and savings experience to deliver a modern, intuitive platform for both long-term savers and active investors.

• Roadmap ownership: Lead the team roadmap by defining feature scope and prioritizing deliverables in collaboration with business owners and stakeholders.

• Stakeholder communication: Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders regarding roadmap progress, changes, and potential blockers.

• Risk & compliance: Proactively identify and mitigate product risks while ensuring all features meet stringent regulatory and legal standards.

• Engineering leadership: Guide development teams through complex technical problem-solving to deliver impactful products and a high-performance user experience.

This is you

You have deep interest within savings and investments and you also have previous working knowledge and experience from digital product development within financial services sector. You most likely have some technical or analytical experience and as a person, you are driven, creative and have great teamwork skills!

You have:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as product owner or similar role within financial services

• Passion for creating smooth and effortless customer journeys, enabling the experience of saving and investing.

• Ability to navigate the complex, competitive, and regulated finance landscape

• High personal initiative with a natural ability to lead by example, inspire others, and drive results
