Join us at Nordnet Product Design team
We aren't just looking for someone to run usability tests. We’re looking for a curious advocate who can help us understand the "why" behind the "what." You will be the bridge between our users’ lived experiences and our product roadmap, ensuring that every feature we ship solves a real human problem. Supported by your slides and research findings you’ll work side-by-side with designers and teams to ensure our pixels solve real problems. You are the 'voice of the user' who also knows how to roll a sleeve and translate research findings into tangible design solutions where necessary.
What you’ll do
Lead the full research lifecycle, from scoping and recruiting to moderation, analysis, and reporting.
Utilise a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods when conducting research.
Actively present findings in compelling, creative ways that build empathy across the company.
Work closely with Product Owners, Designers, Data Analysts and Engineers to turn raw data into actionable insights.
Help represent the voice of the customer and influence the long-term product strategy.
Translate research insights into low-to-high fidelity design concepts, wireframes, and prototypes to facilitate rapid iterative testing.
Create a compelling presentation template & research hub for staff to use in their day to day work.
Empower the wider design team by creating self-service research templates and coaching designers on best practices for testing.
Partner with Data Analysts to triangulate qualitative 'why' with quantitative 'what' (behavioral analytics, funnel drops, and A/B test results).
You are
A UX researcher with 5+ years of experience with a portfolio that shows how your work directly impacted a product.
Not only handing over a research report and walk away. You sometimes stay in Figma file to ensure the solution actually honors the insight.
Not only delivering data, yet as a great storyteller, through well crafted presentations you deliver narratives that make people care.
Comfortable using different UX research methods and know when to go deep with a 1:1 interview and when a quick unmoderated test is enough.
Comfortable with research tools and design tools like Figma or Maze.
Comfortable challenging assumptions including your own.
Active Participant in Design Reviews. You use your research lens to provide constructive feedback on team designs, helping colleagues spot potential usability hurdles before they even reach a testing phase.
You have
Experience building or scaling research repositories.
Experience navigating complex regulatory environments or designing for high-trust user journeys.
Excellent communication skills and enjoyment of cross-functional collaboration.
A keen eye for detail and a passion for high-quality, pixel-perfect design.
A background in Cognitive Psychology, Anthropology, HCI, or a related field is a plus.
