This is part of the role

As a Business Owner you will make sure we’ll have the best-in-class in the mutual fund offering whilst ensuring that Nordnet is, and continues to be, compliant and commercially effective in relation to external and internal requirements, primarily within product governance and related policies and instructions. You will keep the team up to date on changes in regulations and views from regulators with respect to business and product impact.

Furthermore, you’ll have a close relationship with external fund companies as well as stakeholders within Nordnet e.g. legal, compliance, tech, product, marketing, operations and the country organisations. You’ll be one of Nordnet’s fund experts and you will report to the Director of Mutual Funds.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive and support projects that spans over the firm to achieve strategic initiatives within Mutual Funds

• Support the overall quality of the investment products within Nordnet’s Mutual Fund offering

• Focusing on Product Governance when it comes to Mutual funds

• Structuring and improving internal processes

• Monitoring and analyzing mutual fund data

• Quality assurance and oversight of tech development, data quality and trading setup concerning Mutual Funds

• Support the Mutual Fund business with legal and compliance projects

This is you

Most probably you are well-founded in the majority of the following:

• 3-5 year of experience within Mutual Funds

• Education – MSc or similar preferably within finance or law

• Fluency in Swedish and English is mandatory

• Bank & Finance experience is required

• Swedsec licensed

• Understanding of the regulatory framework around Mutual Funds and fund distribution, including UCITS, AIFMD and Mifid II

You are passionate about savings and investments, predominantly Mutual Funds. You are organized, methodical and communicative in a way that benefits the team’s working climate and ability to excel. You easily interact with all levels of the organisation and like to take responsibility. You have an open mindset and like to challenge and question long-established truths. Getting to know the details and understanding how everything is connected and dependent on each other is of great importance to you. Also working in teams and celebrating successes. You’re not afraid of rolling up your sleeves and love working in a fast paced environment.
